Where are The Chowk's restaurants in Bali?
The Chowk has four Indian restaurants in Bali: Sanur (Jl. Danau Tamblingan No.51, near ICON Mall), Ubud (inside Museum Puri Lukisan, next to Ubud Palace), Kuta (inside Kuta Beach Club Hotel, Jl. Bakung Sari) and Jimbaran (at Taman Gita, InterContinental Bali Resort).
What are your opening hours?
Sanur, Ubud and Kuta are open every day from 8am to 11pm. The Chowk at Taman Gita, InterContinental Bali Resort in Jimbaran is open every day from 12pm to 10:30pm.
Food & Dietary
What kind of Indian food do you serve?
Authentic North and South Indian food, tandoor, Indo-Chinese dishes, Indian street food and fresh Indian sweets (mithai) made by our specialist mithai chef. We serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
Do you have vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes. Our menu has a wide range of vegetarian dishes, and we offer vegan options too. Please let our team know your dietary needs when you order.
Do you serve Jain food in Bali?
Yes. The Chowk offers Jain options. Please tell our team when you book or order so we can guide you through the menu.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes. We offer gluten-free options. However, our kitchens also handle wheat flour, so cross-contamination is possible and we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from gluten. If you have coeliac disease or a gluten allergy, please speak to our team before ordering so you can make an informed choice.
Is the food at The Chowk halal?
The Chowk is halal-friendly but not halal certified. Our Ubud menu includes pork dishes, and wine is served at Sanur, Ubud and Kuta. If you have specific dietary requirements, please ask our team and we will gladly guide you through the menu.

How much does a meal at The Chowk cost?
A meal at The Chowk typically costs IDR 150,000 to 250,000 per person.
How do I book a table?
For Sanur and Ubud, book online using Chope.
For Kuta, call +62 857-3811-1888.
For The Chowk at InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran, call +62 815-9638-728.
Walk-ins are welcome in all branches.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes. You can order The Chowk for delivery through Grab (GrabFood) and Gojek (GoFood).
Events
Do you cater weddings and events in Bali?
Yes. The Chowk caters 150+ events every year, from intimate mehndi nights to multi-day weddings. We host private events at our four restaurants (up to 250 guests at Jimbaran and Ubud) or bring the full kitchen, live counters and service team to your villa, beach or venue anywhere in Bali.

What is the Saturday dinner buffet at Jimbaran?
Every Saturday from 6pm, The Chowk at Taman Gita, InterContinental Bali Resort hosts an Indian dinner buffet with live counters, freshly prepared by our chefs.
